RC Helicopters - Latest Models and Designs

First helicopter and the fast helicopter piloted was invented by Paul cornu 1907, however the design was not successful. Another Frenchman Etienne oehmichen built and flew helicopter 1 km in 1924.

Types of RC Helicopters -

Seven types of remote control helicopters-
Gas remote control helicopter, Electric remote control helicopter, Mini remote control helicopter, Micro remote control helicopter, Toy remote control helicopter, Fixed pitch remote control helicopter, Collective pitch remote control helicopter.

Gas remote control helicopter-gas remote control helicopter is made with engine and powered by gas. Gas remote control helicopter does not come cheap with engine and more complicated moving parts. Electric remote control helicopter-early electric remote control helicopter are expensive but the latter models are affordable. Remote control helicopters are very popular than other types of helicopters in the market. It is easy to fly. It creates no noise and no smell like the gas remote helicopter. It is powered by a rechargeable battery.
Mini remote control helicopter - it is also powered by a battery. It is similar to the electric remote control helicopter. If you can fly in the mini remote control helicopter you are living like the room there is dangerous in the mini remote control helicopter. 2 rotors are control the stability of the helicopter.

Micro remote control helicopter-it has standard feature similar to the standard remote control helicopter. it is so tiny that makes it look so delicate but in face materials used such as titanium and carbon. Toy remote control helicopters – toy remote control helicopters is a cheaper. This type of rc helicopters requires a lot of practice.

Fixed pitch remote control helicopters- A helicopter with a fixed pitch has main rotor blades that remain in a fixed position. Fixed pitch helicopter are well suited for beginners because there is to control making them that much easier to fly. With fixed pitch helicopters the amount of lift is dependent only on the rotor speeds means there will be more lift and helicopter will rise. Lower motor speeds means helicopter comes down.
Fixed pitch is exactly that the pitch of the main rotor blade is held at a fixed or constant angle of attack. You control the amount of the lift to your helicopter by simply varying the speed of the engine motor. If you  increase the speed of the motor blades run faster and the speed of engine is lower blades of the helicopter run slowly. This is very simple way  to control the remote control helicopter.

Collective pitch remote control helicopters - With this system of control, you change the pitch or angle of attack of the rotor blades while the engine speed stays or more constant.
